Our Story

CHP MAUI, formerly Chris Hart & Partners, was founded by former County of Maui Director of Planning, Chris Hart. We have been in operation since 1992. Over the course of 20-years, Chris Hart worked hard to establish strong relationships within the community and to provide Maui with professional and conscientious land use planning and landscape architectural services.

Chris’s son, Jordan Hart, purchased the firm in 2011 acting as vice president before assuming the role of president upon Chris's unexpected passing in 2012.  Jordan skillfully guided Chris Hart & Partners, Inc. for over six years before becoming Deputy Director of the County of Maui Planning Department.".

Continuing this tradition established by the Harts, today we succeed by using our expertise and local knowledge to create outcomes for the betterment of community and clients alike.
